Opportunity zone opportunities

Greg Devlin
Posted

I have an investment that is selling August and I will have a large capital gain. I'm trying to figure out how to use opportunity zones to defer and minimize the tax impact. I'm in the northeast so would prefer to invest here but open to ideas. Any suggestions?

If you go the passive investment route, you may check out this website that has a database of Opportunity Funds:

https://opportunitydb.com/funds/

If you do your own project, just make sure you have proper advice and planning before you make any purchase or investment.
