Would you take someone under your wing? In DC/North Virginia

Good Afternoon all,

So just found this site through watching YouTube about renting and how to get started, I was curious if anyone in Northern Virginia or DC who is in the business would be willing to take me under their wing as I get started.

I just transitioned out of the Marine Corps and always looking for new and better opportunities to invest. Since I have been overseas for most of my adult life, I finally have an opportunity to get into the market.

Chess,

I recommend you get started by learning as much as you possibly can through podcasts, books, and sites like this. It is unlikely that someone with experience is going to be willing to take you under their wing if you don't bring some form of value to the table for them. So I also recommend you seek ways to serve and add value for experienced investors. Good luck, and thank you for serving our country!
