Starting with MultiFamily Apartments in Canada Ontario Advice?

I am a first timer here in the real estate business and on bigger pockets. 

I am looking for advice on how I can start my first multi family unit and possible house hacking. I want to live in one of the units. Looking for advice on how to get started.

What documents/templates do I need and should I have prepared?

What laws should I look into and be aware of?
