Florida multi family investor

Hello Biggerpockets!

I am looking to invest in a multi family home in Florida. I am open to partnering/ funding a deal. I am a newbie real estate investor who is very eager to learn!

I am a doctor of physical therapy working here in FL and I am doing really well with my practice. I mainly work with geriatric patients so business is good here. Lol

I just became a father and I have a 1 year old baby boy. My problem: my job takes all of my time. I can barely play or spend time with him right now.

This is why I have been continuosly trying to learn everything that I can the last 3 months in real estate investing. I have been reading books, listening to BP podcasts everyday and analyzing deals almost every night.

I also trade stocks since I was young and I am sitting on 100k cash right now that I was holding for a stock market crash but I’d rather invest it in real estate if there is a good deal out there.

I’d also like to hear some ideas for learning faster.

Thank you BP!

Welcome to BP and congrats on your growing family.

Though there have been lots of useful information provided from the others. I second what @Theo Hicks states. You sound like you are going in the direction of adding more on your plate. Enjoy those extra moments with your family and passively invest in opportunities. The only time you will initially be investing in would be the background checks on the operators of the deals, reviewing monthly/quarterly newsletters and reviewing your returns. You would also be learning along the way as well.
