What are the average ranges of down payment for house hacking a 2-4 unit property for Fairfield county? Without getting an FHA loan for house hacking. Thanks!

@Dilman R., it's going to depend on the bank and what products they offer. A lot of local banks have less-than-20%-down loans. You'll most likely have to pay PMI. Start with the local banks and credit unions. CUs especially have some very attractive terms and programs.

I put down ~12% on my personal property in Greenwich and that was with a big bank.
