Drawing traffic to website

Brian Cain
Posted

Hi there BP family. Question regarding online marketing. For some time I've been doing direct mail with some success. As we all know it can get a little costly. I want to start pulling leads in from online marketing. My focus is solely apartments. I just launched my We Buy Apartments site. I know the We Buy Homes work in residential but are any of you seeing success with these sites in the Commercial space? If so how are you drawing attention to your site? Any feedback would be great. Thanks BP!!

@Brian Cain The key to online marketing is to understand and keyword target what apartment owners will be looking for when they are ready to sell. Usually they will search for apartment brokers or commercial real estate brokers that specialize in apartments  so you're going to need to approach it from that angle.

The most effective method to find off market deals is to call the owners directly. This is how i do it and how the top brokers do it. Also you can call third party management companies to find out if they have any owners looking to sell.

Mail can be somewhat effective if done correctly. Here are some list ideas.

Appraisers and inspectors

Code violations

Evictions. Target properties with lot's of evictions.
