Ghosted by Bank after Highest and Best

Hi everyone,

2 weeks ago, I got a call from my realtor that my offer on a triplex had a good possibility of being accepted. The deadline was last Monday, and we expected to hear something either the following day or Wednesday.

It's been silence on the net since. My realtor, who is also an investor, has no idea what happened to the bank's realtor or why we haven't heard anything. The MLS doesn't show that it's pending or anything.

Any advice?

REO listing agents here are notoriously apathetic and slow to get back to anybody. You probably are experiencing the same apathy disease.

The loss and mitigation dept of the bank is probably out of state and has no clue either. If it's a local community bank foreclosure, call them directly.

Your agent has to get an update from the apathetic LA or their broker somehow.  The squeaky wheel gets the grease.
