Company and LLC Cemantics -> QUICK QESTION

Good Afternoon,

So I just have a quick question. I am going to syndicate apartments so should we have a company name "LIV Real Estate" and that will be our company LLC. Then when we acquire properties we create a seperate LLC that owns the property and then does "LIV Real Estate, LLC" own every property LLC? Is that how it works or am I just not seeing something?
