Accredited Investor Certification/New CPA Recommendation

David VanWert
Posted

In the process of investing in a syndication and need to have my accreditation validated. I sent the form I was given via the crowdfunding site and sent along to my CPA. He unfortunately said he doesn't know what an accredited investor is and will not sign it.

a. Does anyone have a referral for a CPA that can fill out this form, with me providing them taxes for verification of course.

b. Looks like I need to find a new CPA, someone that specializes in small business and real estate investing. Los Angeles area would be ideal but happy to work with someone remotely via Skype as well.

TIA!!

An experienced CPA that works with real estate investors should absolutely know what an accredited investor is and have a template letter ready to go. You might be able to find a CPA thru a local REI meetup.
