Need help getting started
I am clueless about the real estate industry but it’s something that has caught my eye in the last year or so, and I am thinking that starting out with a douplex would be the way to go. I’d appreciate it If someone can send me some tips, recommendations, or share some personal experiences with me.
Also, books I can read to help me get familiar with real estate. Thanks!

@Brando Nava I started out with a duplex and house-hacked it. It was a good experience, but I think you should ask yourself the question: "what do I want from real estate investing?" is it passive cash flow, large lump sums of money, small portfolio to self-manage or do you want to own an empire? Answering this will help you skip a lot of unnecessary steps. I know it would have helped me.
