Securing Your MFH Reposition & Refinance
Hi all, I am in the midst of trading up/1031x into a 16+ apartment.
While the immediate financing when purchasing a MFH is straightforward since one negotiates the terms of the loan, amoritization, etc., upfront. I'm curious to hear from those that have been in the MF space and have repositioned their apartment for a refinance, and are long term holders.
1) How do you anticipate and forecast rates when it can take 2, 4, 6 years to stabilize your apartment and set it up a refi?
