Hello everybody, the title is self-explanatory. I would like to hear from investors who have started their investing journey with an apartment in the same situation as I’m in. What did you do and what do you recommend?

Hi Michael - I grew up in Staten Island.

With no credit and no money is hard especially in general, but to add NYC on top. That's nearly impossible. You're best bet is to learn how to wholesale, but you will have a hard time with that here as well. Sorry to be so negative, but that's the truth.

I suggest working a full-time job in the real estate industry and get your knowledge in. This also helps you accumulate some capital for a deal.
