Managing from out of state

So we’re relocating out of state and will keep our 4 unit property here in king county. We don’t want to do property management as it will eat most of our cash flow along with taxes. So I want to know of any ideas on how we could collect rent and serve notices without flying in every month to do so. Any ideas?

Someone will pay for management; either you will pay a pm, or you will pay yourself in time, effort, aggravation and possibly lost income.

So I guess the question becomes, can you do remote management yourself, do you really want to, and is it worth it.
