Soundproofing during renovations

Hi everyone. I have a triplex with stacked units. Until now I’ve kept carpeting in the LRs & BRs, mostly as a consideration for the tenants below each unit in terms of sound. I’d really like to run laminate flooring throughout each unit as I upgrade them all this year.

Is there some kind of underlayment that can be used with laminate to lessen the sound of footsteps from above?

TIA
