partnership finders fees
I am about to enter into a partnership and came across a clause in the agreement on finders fees. Is a 1-3% finders fee normal in a 2 person partnership where one person is bringing the cash needed while the other person is bringing the financing and property to the table?

Everything is negotiable. All three of the pieces of the puzzle are important. You did not mention what the split will be without the finders fee. If it is 50/50 then maybe the finders fee is already figured into the split and not appropriate. On the other hand, if the split is not even, then the fee may be appropriate.
