Multi Family in law apartment
Hi BiggerPockets!
I am looking at purchasing this 3 unit multi family which has an in law apartment in the basement. The 3 legal units are rented but i want to live in the basement to qualify for owner financing (the basement apartment has 2 exits and an egress window it can not be converted to a 4 unit). Is there anything i should be concerned with doing this? is this illegal to do? any help/advice/concerns would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!!
