Multiple Properties vs One Large Property
Hello all,
This is my first post so I apologized if it is in the wrong place.
I am looking at two different deals, both are for multiple duplexes. One is an entire complex made of 11 duplexes and 1 5-plex all on one parcel. The other is a group of 18 duplexes all on the same street but separate parcels.
Can someone help me determine if there are any advantages or disadvantages to owning one complex vs most of a small neighborhood of duplexes ? For the sake of discussion let's assume both are equal in price per unit, condition, and location.
I would appreciate any opinions on this.
