Partnering without a Partnership
Hello BP!
I am wanting some advice on partnering and funding. I have always heard and believe that a partnership is a ship that won't sail. I do believe this to be true being that you can't control what other people do, only what you do. I know even the best of partnerships can fail. As I have grown in real estate, I have inherently attracted potential investors to my strategy in small MF. I would love to pool capital and do bigger deals, but I really do not want to get into a partnership. Can I get some advice on best practice for doing a joint venture that is fair for both parties but not an inked partnership? I'm all ears! Thank you.
