Condo Conversion Process in Arlington, Virginia

I'm looking at an investment opportunity here in Arlington, VA that makes sense as-is as a 10-unit apartment complex, however I'm looking at a potential condo conversion strategy that would make it a tremendous deal. Problem is I'm not familiar w/ the condo conversion space, let alone Arlington County (the website is not of much help imo). I plan on talking to an attorney and folks in this space (there was a conversion right down the street from me to an identical building 7 years back) but thought I'd ping my BPers first. Thoughts, comments, suggestions? TIA.

Ajay M. Arlington county is extremely difficult jurisdiction with a lot of regulations and their permitting and inspections process is tedious. This is not a knock against them by any means, but what I would say to anyone who has not dealt with Arlington I would team with someone if you were trying to convert it, especially from a cost/ budgeting perspective as it can get very expensive.
