Evicting an inherited tenant to live in their unit
Hello! I'm a new investor and so excited about my first property. I'm in the process of closing on a 7 unit multifamily/apartment building in Texas that is fully rented out. The first problem I have is that I plan to move into the property as soon as I can. How can I get rid of just the tenant that lives in the unit I want for myself?? Everyone is currently on month to month leases now. I don't want to get rid of anyone else yet. But I need to be able to move in to the specific unit I have chosen for myself. Any suggestions on how to deal with this without alienating all the tenants or causing any problems for myself? Thanks!! :)

@Lexie Staples Well this is pretty simple. If the unit you wish to occupy is currently occupied by a month-to-month tenant, you just give them the appropriate notice that their tenancy will be terminated. It's usually 30 days notice unless their written lease specifies a longer notice period.
