What is the best software for a landlord to keep track of multi family/mixed use/retail tenants? Thank you for your comments, I am new to this site and looking forward to hearing any suggestions. Currently we just use Excel and QuickBooks.

Hi Eva, run like the wind away from Excel and QB.  Those tools are not designed for landlords.  Get an application specific to the purpose and you will save so much time and frustration.

Personally, I use Rentec Direct to manage my properties, screen my tenants, and accept ACH payments from tenants.  It's worked great for me for many years and I feel like family to them now.

Here's another discussion happening on the same topic on BP which is netting some other ideas.
