Post purchase
I just purchased a triplex. Pretty straightforward, nothing special. This is my first multi-family. A couple of days after the purchase I gave each tenant a simple letter that introduced myself and gave my contact info. (I plan to manage the property myself). In the coming days I plan on requiring each tenant to fill out an application so that I have their information and also sign a new lease agreement. My question is, what else should I do (or not do), or look out for, now that the ownership has changed? Thank you. -Neil
