$1000 Prize for oldest C/A Unit
I purchased a 6 unit building about a month ago and scheduled my regular HVAC vendor to service and clean the systems. He called me today to let me know that I won his annual contest for oldest C/A unit, and that I would receive $1000 off a replacement unit installation cost if I wanted to replace it.
The unit was installed in 1967 and I beat the next closest competitor by 4 years! Wow - they sure don't make 'em like that anymore!
Anyone out there have an older unit than 1967 that is still running?
