Starting a Multifamily investing CO.

Hey BP,

I'm looking into starting a MF investing company. Little background, I own a 4-plex at the moment in Los Angeles. My brother and I know individuals who have expressed interest in investing with us. We would like to move forward and acquire more doors. My first question is should I set up a LLC before having money raised? Or will I have to raise the money and then set up the entity? Also, any other advice on syndication/pooling funds is welcomed.

Best,

TM
