Elmsford NY Rental Property
I recentley just purchase a home in Elmsford, NY which is a small town west of White Plains. I am doing a complete gut and rebuild and making it a two family home. My dilemma is I will be living on one floor Should I build everything to my liking and do the outside to how i envision it? I will be living there for approximately 5 years while renting out the top floor. It could be longer or shorter. I just dont know if I should pump a lot of money into a home and make it to how i dream it when in the end it will become a rental property. Also with that being said, does anybody have experience in making a rental property really nice and getting paid higher rent in a set area because of it?
