One Bedroom Layout Rentable?

Hi, this is my first time on the forum and I'm hoping to get advice on possibly my first ever purchase (a buy and hold). I'm looking at a one bed/one bath duplex with kind of a funky layout: In order to get to the bathroom and kitchen, you have to go through the bedroom. Have any of you had a property like this? Was it a problem renting? I'm wondering how much (if at all) renters prefer open kitchens that look out into the living room, which this duplex would not offer. Thank you for your time!
