I have the plans in hand for 5 duplexes I already own and am curious as to ballpark ideas on what it would cost to build some from scratch. I would act as my own general contractor and do some of the work as well. The units are pretty basic. One side is a 808sqft 2 bed and the other a 616 sqft one bed with 12x28 one car garages in between. Electric baseboard heat and 1 wall AC unit per side. Mine are on slabs but I'm thinking it may cheaper and better longterm to go with crawls? Any educated guesses on a per sqft basis?

Hi Brandon,

I'm curious what your costs per sf ended up being.  I'm looking into doing something similar in the Anderson, IN area.
