Turning single family into multi-family?
Is it a lengthy process to get a single family house in Austin to a multi-family dwelling. Anybody have experience in this area?

The first "depends" is zoning. If the area is not zoned for multifamily or, if the lot dimensions and coverage do not comply, there will be no legal conversion.
