Questions about converting a school into apartments

Does anyone have any experience and/or some resources that pertain to converting an old school into livable space?

This is something that I can't really seem to find a lot of information about, but I'd really like to learn.

Our company is currently converting an old school in Bozeman, Montana, into a condo building.  The website is here, where you can find plans, videos, and photos of the project.

Converting old buildings into loft apartments is a very popular trend at the moment, especially in my area (Billings, Montana).  The first thing to do would be to contact an architect with experience in adaptive reuse of old buildings.  Even if you don't get a project started, he should offer a free consultation to discuss the possibilities.  Those guys live for this stuff.
