LLC and Insurance

I'll be purchasing my very first multi-family rental properties (buying two multi-family homes). I want to create LLC to protect my other assets. However, I'm a little confused about insurance. Someone suggested that I should have these properties with my primary home insurance with an umbrella policy. But then I can't put these properties under LLC, right? With LLC, I'll need a commercial insurance? Can any one recommend a commercial insurance agent in CT?

Thank you in advance!
