Are Vending Machines Great For Multifamily?

Lucas Morales
Posted

I was talking about this with a friend and we have split opinions. I think it would be great for a multi family building with 10 units or more and they don't believe it would be a good investment because you don't see vending machines in apartments, even with 50 units. Is it worth getting a permit and setting up a vending machine in a multifamily, with 10 or more units?

Has anyone set up a vending machine in one of their buildings?

It's a good idea if your location is such that you don't worry too much about damage. Security is a big issue with these. Nowadays you need to consider credit card functionality, too. Also, make sure you have someone restocking the machine and not yourself. That's too much of a pain.
