chicago il suburbs with triplex orfourplex

hi everyone i hope everyone is doing ok. im a out of state investor and looking to buy a triples or fourplex in subur of chicago, my question here is : are there specific suburbs  where i can find those type of properties. 

anybody here investing in chicago suburb, which suburbs of chicago is a good place to invest . thanks for your response

Hi @Kristin Vegas - That was a pretty spot summary by @Paul De Luca...there is TON of 2-4 units in Chicago proper, but as you go further out they begin to dissipate.

Is there a reason you want to invest in the suburbs instead of Chicago?   What is your price point and targeted returns?

Some other areas I like out west are Brookfield, Riverside, and Broadview.  On the southside Oaklawn, Palos Heights, and Crestwood/alsip are nice!
