1bed 1bath vacancy promblems?

Chase Caudill
Posted

Hello everyone. I’m looking at getting a property in a smaller city with about 25,000 people in it. The deal on paper looks great. But in a couple of my real estate books I’ve read it stated that 1bed 1bath units have high vacancy rates and turn over tenants a lot. Does anyone have input on this topic? I would greatly appreciate it!

Hey Chase

I'll echo what Arn said above. I've also got an apartment building that is mostly 1/1's and I love it. Super easy to fill the units as the rent is pretty affordable for a single person or a younger couple.  Also is nice because there are no kids in the building which keeps things quiet for everyone else.
