Hello Everyone - Getting started with Multifamily Properties/Starting A Fund
First off, hello, as this is my first post. Canadian investor here. My background is finance, I've completed the Canadian Securities Course which is the equivalent of the Series 7. My proficiency lies in financial analysis and interpreting financial statements, skills I'm looking to transfer to the real estate industry. I've taken courses in accounting and statistics as well.
I'm launching a private property fund and wanted to tap into this community for tips and to do some networking. Our main focus is on multifamily properties, starting in Chicago, IL. We would like to know the best avenue available for finding limited partnership investors for our fund. We've selected a few potential properties and can draft marketing material as needed.
