Team or Deal which is first
I have a few rental properties and have listened to hundreds of podcasts. I'm ready to scale up into multifamily preferably something small 8-15 units so I can learn the ropes before going bigger. I'll need at least one partner and would like to build a team for the larger future purchase. The question is, how do you build the team before you have the experience/ deal? If you're able to get a deal before building a team it's probably too late to build the team as the time crunch is on. Curious what more experienced investors have done

Build the team first. I learned the hard way that without a team, if something goes wrong in the purchase/during ownership you will be scrambling.
