I have a 2 family unit in NY my downstairs tenant was told multiple times to have bags removed due to clutter, it practically takes up the entire back yard patio. Any thoughts or ideas on how I should move forward with this situation legally?

Yes the patio is supposed to be shared by the tenants, but her trash has completely taken over the patio,   The lease does state she can not use the patio as storage.  The management company I have hired has sent multiple letters to have the bottles removed, and my upstairs tenant s complaining about it.

Have them go over and remove them and bill her for the cleaning fee.

I was thinking about that also,  I just did not want to pay for it,  they do pay their rent on time, not sure if they can pay an extra cleaning invoice.

Where you live, do you get money back for returning bottles?  If so, whoever cleans them up can keep the money in exchange for doing the job.  I know with milk jugs and stuff, I can get $50 for loading them up in my car and driving them to the bottle depot.
