When it comes to investing in a real estate syndication (group investment), the process can be entirely foreign, especially if you’ve never invested in syndications before.

To help you gain confidence in investing in your first real estate syndication, let us explore the syndication process from start to finish.

These are the fundamental steps involved in investing in a real estate syndication:

➡️ Define your investment goals.

➡️ Find an investment opportunity that matches your goals.

➡️ Do your due diligence on the main deal sponsor.

➡️ Do your due diligence on the deal.

➡️ Reserve your spot in the deal.

➡️ Review the Investor Documents. Including private placement memorandum (PPM), operating agreement and any other supporting documentation.

➡️ Submit your investment funds.

Once you have completed these steps, you are in! Expect to receive monthly updates from the sponsor team and a Schedule K-1 every year.

Real estate syndications offer a fantastic way to enjoy the benefits of real estate without the hassles of being a landlord! Let's Go!!
