Looking to build a multi family unit in the western suburbs

Hi,

I am interested in getting some feedback on building a duplex, triplex or quadplex. I currently live in Waconia and would like to do an owner occupied build. There is so much new construction here and land that is being purchased all the time that it seems like an opportunity to put some affordable housing here. I have asked some local realtors and they all looked at me as if I had 2 heads. Looking for some ideas of who to contact to make this happen (realtors, builders).
