Should I buy a portfolio as a newer investor?

I did a house hack deal a few years ago and now I want to scale. I've been looking for a few months and haven't been able to find anything that stands out. Recently I stumbled upon a small portfolio for sale. It is 3 duplexes and 2 single family homes. Am I crazy for wanting to buy it and scale that fast? Should I just keep looking for another single small multi family and do one place at a time? My ultimate goal is to reach financial independence in the next 6yrs or less.

That's not crazy. What's more important is - is it a good deal? Will you have enough capital left over after acquisition to do capex?
