Low Income/Affordable Housing Programs

Tammy Lewis
Posted

Hello there, I have a handful of SFR rentals and I am interested in learning more about Affordable housing tax credits and other programs available. I currently live in TX but I am open to investing in other areas of the US. If anyone has any contacts or good websites/books/podcasts so I can start educating myself, I would appreciate it, thanks and have a great day.

Hi Tammy there are some great programs out there for affordable housing. We are working with several agencies in our multifamily properties and are having good success. There are multiple avenues including HUD housing, section 8 and not-profit organizations that we work with. There is also the low income housing affordable tax credit which I know a little about. DM me if you like. I would love to discuss.
