Finding Remodeling Contractors For First Multifamily Property

I've located a multifamily property that fits within my budget and is in line with my real estate strategy. This will be my first investment property and I would like to know if anyone has any tips on locating a good contractor renovate the home. My focus is long term and short term rentals (no fix and flip). How would I qualify a good company from a bad company. My investment location in is Savannah, GA. Does anyone have any referrals?
