Multifamily vs. Storage Facilities

I am trying to decide which to venture out into first; I know they have their pros and cons. Multifamily or "Housing" is something people HAVE to have but with that you deal with maintenance calls, etc..You make more per door..More expenses but higher gross profits. With storage there are no maintenance calls, less gross income per door, but fewer expenses. However, people will let that go before the they let the roof over their heads go....

Which would you start with and why?
