How to buy REO that I live in after Auction

I am living in a home that my husband & I have leased for the last 2.5 years. We had no clue that the owners of the home were going into foreclosure because a leasing agency were handling our business & we have paid on time & before time every month. Today the home was auctioned at a public auction. We tried to get the money to buy the home but weren’t able to get enough in time because the starting bid wasn’t released until last night & it was set at $320,000 which was over $100,000 higher than we thought. So I went to the auction as a spectator to see who would buy it. To my surprise no one showed up. Therefore no one bid or bought it. My husband & I have good credit & good jobs & can get a loan for the home but we don’t know how to get in contact with anyone. The lender is said to be US Bank Trust but there is no contact info. What should be my next steps now? How quickly should I move? Where should I look? Please help! This has been so disturbing because the owners or leasing agency told us nothing at all & to this day have still not told us that an auction was going to take place!
