Tax deed title search

Hi everyone, I have a question regarding title search for tax deed sale. I did a quick search on the forum but couldn't find an answer. Long story short, there is a real estate agent who told me she can do what is called a "profile" of the house i'm interested in. My question is if a title search and profile search is the same thing.
