Looking for referral - need a HUD broker (owner/occupant) Alabama

Oops I didn't mean to post this under foreclosures  but don't see how to delete it.

Newbie here. Just watched an instructional video and am being advised to get a referral for a HUD broker/agent. I was sent here to ask you fine people for a referral instead of picking one off a list. I'm a first time home buyer looking at HUD homes in AL (although I am currently living in NY if that matters). I'm looking for a home to live in, not as an investment.

Appreciate any referrals or pointers so I can start the process. Many thanks!
