Finding Active Foreclosures

Robert Schoy
Posted

Hi everyone, I'm a relatively new investor and looking for ways to find foreclosures for fix and flip. I tried the free trial of Foreclosure.com and to me the data available seems very dated. For example I filtered foreclosures in my area and they have them listed as Active and with a EMV. I looked up at least 8 different properties that were listed as Active in Foreclosure.com on the Redfin website, and all of them had a sold price (obviously reflecting a rehab vs. foreclosure price) and sale date.  I guess my question what is the best way to find active foreclosures that I can bid on? If anyone has thoughts or a better way of finding these types of opportunities I would welcome the feedback. Thanks in advance!

Robert also try Auction.com app......after DLing click on foreclosures in lower margin of home page and then type in county that you are interested in.
