I would like to get the conversation going about what all it takes to use my VA loan to purchase 4 units in MD DC or Virginia. Here are the loan limits for DC MD VA.

11 001 DISTRICT OF COL DC 47900 $ 930,300 726,525 $ 1,124,475 $ 1,397,400
24 033 PRINCE GEORGE'S MD 47900 $ 930,300 726,525 $ 1,124,475 $ 1,397,400

Please if anyone has information about where to get started.

I would first talk to your lender.   Get preapproved for a loan.  I'd probably first start with the credit union or bank that is based at your base or if you have an account there.   If not Navy Federal CU is fairly aggressive marketing loans, so you could start there.   You'll want to see #1 how much money they will give you, and then #2 what kind of rent credits they will give you for the rented units.   Once you do this you will know what price range you can be in and what rents you will need from the rental units to support your loan.  Then you can go shopping for properties.
