If you get a counter offer from a bank on an REO offer, and you want to increase your deposit as a way to make your offer more attractive, do you [i]really have to write a new check to give to your realtor? Or can you just tell the realtor to convey to the bank that your new offer is ____ with an increase in the deposit to ___.
