Is my tenant dog liability covered?

I own rental home (value 65k) and one of the tenants has a Pitbull. I purchased a general liability policy on the LLC in which I own the policy in the amount of 1mm. After much searching, I found one insurance agent that said they could get me a policy that did not exclude Pitbull liability.

I am skeptical as every other agent I spoke to would not give me insurance for this risk. The info provided by the agent does not mention dog liability protection, it just doesn't list animal risk as excluded. I have tried calling the actual underwriter for confirmation but they have referred my questions to the individual agent. By the way, the policy is written by Auto Owners Insurance.

How can I be assured the insurance agent is not misinformed or lying to me to get me to buy the policy? Is a email from agent saying I am covered enough confirm?
