Multiple NOD for homeowner?

Hey BP community. Just curious, but my company is subscribed to a database where we get NODs update weekly and I noticed that there are a couple homeowners who have recieved multiple nods month after month. Is it possible that some of these homeowners have been in preforeclosure for more than a year or 2?

@Jeffrey M. Multiple NODs, month after month, is unusual and I'd question your database or maybe how you're looking at the data. It's possible for there to be NODs recorded for 1st, 2nd, and even 3rd position loans within a few months but that's rare. Multiple NODs filed by the lender on a specific loan tend to be spread out by years when the current NOD expires, if the foreclosure hasn't proceeded to a Notice of Sale.
